Health Insurance

The Town of Watertown offers the following health insurance options
through the Group Insurance Commission at 80/20 contributions (20% of the
premium is paid by the employee)

  • Harvard Pilgrim Independence Plan (PPO)
  • Naivgator by Tufts Health Plan (PPO)
  • Neighborhood Health Plan (HMO)
  • UniCare State Indemnity Plan - Basic
  • Community Choice (PPO)
  • Plus Plan (PPO)
The Town of Watertown also offers the following two dental options. The
employee premium contribution is 100%:

  • DMS Network
  1. Employee Coverage
  2. Employee + 1 Coverage
  3. Family Coverage
  • GE Life Assurance Company (Union Fidelity)

Upon hire, employees are eligible to participate in Basic Group Life Insurance and for the Section 125 (Premium Only Plan) as well.
