Book Borrowing Policy in the Library

Students in grades PK-1 are able to check out one (1) book during their weekly library class.

Students in grades 2-5 are able to check out two (2) books during their weekly library class.

Previously borrowed books must be returned before new books can be checked out. The circulation period for books is one week, though students can renew their books up to two (2) times if they are not finished.

What if I lose my book or it gets damaged?

While there are no fines for overdue books, students are responsible for their borrowed books. If a book gets damaged or is lost, students will be asked to replace the book, either in book form or in monetary value (printed on overdue notices). If it is necessary to replace a book, please contact Mrs. Walsh before doing so.

The school district's Acceptable Use Agreement

Hard (paper) copies of the district's Acceptable Use Agreement are sent home at the beginning of every school year. Students and parents are asked to read, sign, and return the Acceptable Use Agreement by the given due date. Please return these agreements in a timely manner. Use of computers in the school (library, computer lab, and classroom) is for schoolwork only, and is governed by the terms of the Acceptable Use Agreement. Students not abiding by the Acceptable Use Agreement may have their computer privileges revoked.
