The holidays are upon us, which means kids will be home for winter break and togetherness is the name of the game. Unfortunately, all that togetherness might lead to a meltdown (or three) -caused by activity overload, visitors galore, and more than a few late nights! So what are families to do?
Some of the classroom have been using Mind Yeti to learn skills that help us calm, focus, and connect with one another. Your child can learn have slow and intentional breathing, be more aware of their bodies, and visualizing kindness and gratitude from Mind Yeti. These skills can be a life saver over the holidays when things get stressful.
You can calm the holiday Hubbub by trying Mind Yeti at home. You can also try it together with your child!
Once you create an account, you’ll have access to the same audio sessions. Have a chat with your child about which sessions are best for his or her unique needs, and try a couple. If you like it, you can download a quick start cheat sheet with ideas to help you create a routine at home.
I hope you find Mind Yeti to be a useful tool for a more calm, focused, and connected holiday!
Below you will find two worksheets that can be fun also.
