Have you visited Canyon Creek recently? The next time you come in, stop and admire our front garden. Thank you to 8th Grader Nathan Tofell for this work as his 8th grade project. He had assistance from Mrs. Baxter, Brianna H, Stasia C, Preston U, Hunter V, Shubert H, Ana J, Chase A, Zack T, Leather B and Riley F. A very special thank you to local businesses American Granite and Marble, Enchanted Gardens, and Home Depot in Portland. Nathan also had help from Cooki Welsh McClatchie (Master Gardener volunteer from WSU), Sandra and Larry Goza, and Diane and Dave Ladwig. Thank you to everyone in our community who made this project possible!
Important Immunization Info:
All children attending 6th grade (or above) must show proof of:
• Tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis (Tdap) vaccination if he/she is 11 years old and it has been five years since he/she received a tetanus-containing vaccine, like DTaP or a tetanus-diphtheria (Td) booster.
All students currently in 5th grade will need to receive the Tdap vaccination prior to starting 6th grade.
If your child is in grades 6-10 and they have not received this vaccination, he/she will need to do so as soon as possible. Students who do not receive the required immunizations or provide exemption information will be excluded from school starting on October 31, 2014.
