Military History is a One Term class that will begin with the American Revolution and end with World War II.  This class will be comprised of class discussion, notes, readings, and the viewing of films related to our areas of study.  A primary focus of this course is looking at how military conflicts have changed throughout history, as well as focusing on the positive and negative changes that conflicts bring, especially as they continue to grow larger.  This course will be divided into 4 sections with an examination at the end of each section.

Course Units

1.  American Revolution through the Napoleonic Wars (From Dynastic to National Warfare) 1775-1815 

2.  American Civil War, Wars of German Unification through the Russo-Japanese War 1815-1914 

3.  World War I and Conflicts that follow 1914-1939

4.  World War II 1939-1945
