Destination Einstein (DE) is a program founded by FIRST Team 2974 (Walton Robotics) and Georgia FIRST in which a full- size official FRC field is made available to all Georgia teams throughout the year to hone their robot skills. The original goal was to get a Georgia team to play in the world championships on the Einstein Field, but is now expanded to include and recognize the value of collaboration. DE includes many collaborative events where teams help other teams on their journey toward improvement and the world championships on the Einstein Field!
Destination Einstein facilities are now open in Atlanta, Columbus and Albany!
In collaboration with GaFIRST, Marietta DE hosted GRITS 2015.
Temporary Facility
The Marietta Destination Einstein is currently located in the Walton High School Robotics Lab as we make plans for our new facility.
The Organizations
While the Marietta Destination Einstein is hosted by Walton Robotics, it is the combined resources of some great organizations that make it possible. Walton's space is made available to us by Walton High School. Funds for the field are provided by Kimberly Clark, and operating funds are generously provided by Georgia FIRST.
