Step 1 - Support WCEF TK-12

We parents can find a lot of things to worry about, but our children's education shouldn't be one of them. WCEF was created by parents to help raise additional funding to ensure all students in our Walnut Creek public schools receive a well-rounded education so they will graduate with confidence.

California State Funding Ranks 41st in the Country

Our schools and teachers rely on funding from WCEF every year.  As the cost of education continues to rise, and state funds continue to lag behind, we ask you to make a tax-deductible donation to help raise the $1.25 million our schools need this year.

Our suggested ask is a one-time donation of $600 per student, or $50 a month for 12 months (roughly $1.75 a day) per student.  To donate, click above or here.  Please know, when you give, your dollars are spent during the current school year and help ensure well-funded schools and a well-rounded education for your child.

What Does WCEF Fund vs. My School's PTO/PTA?

Both WCEF and your school's parent group help fund vital programs that help create great schools.  Donations to WCEF support all students from TK to 12, and help fund teacher/specialist salaries (Art, Math, Music, Science, PE); electives; district-wide academic programs; and more.  In fact, more than 20+ educators are funded by your gifts to WCEF.  Your school's Parent Group typically funds community-building events, parent education and classroom supplies.  As both are vital to helping create great schools, please consider donating to both organizations.

Since 1983, WCEF has been investing donations fro parents and community members directly back into the Walnut Creek School District and Las Lomas High School to deliver a well-rounded and competitive education for your child. Visit for more information.
