Come, join Vidya to explore healthy vegetarian cooking ideas. Vegetarian selections will be prepared using whole grains, dried beans, lentils, pulses, spices, nuts, dairy products, fruits and vegetables.

NO eggs, seafood or meat of any kind will be used. NO deep frying.

You'll learn to prepare vegetarian appetizers, side dishes, main dishes and desserts that are yummy and highly nutritious. Preparing food using a variety of natural ingredients of different colors, tastes, textures, smells is VYANJAN's specialty.

Read Vidya's presentation on healthy vegetarian cooking given at Indian Trails Library in Wheeling, IL in August 2006. If you would like to have a healthy vegetarian cooking workshop, please contact us. Participants will get to sample a variety of healthy vegetarian food items.

When? Tuesday 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.  or Sunday 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. (Timings are flexible. Please ask for times that are more convenient for you).

How much? $600 per person for 10 classes in a row (one class per week).

                              Any three classes : $195 per person. 

                              Pay as you go : $70 per person per class.

                              All cooking supplies are included in cost. 

                              Please bring your glass containers to carry your cooked samples home. 

                              Food may be hot, so plastic containers are not recommended for carrying your samples back.

                              Fees are valid for classes held at the address below only.
