llo! I'm Shelby Scott, a PhD candidate in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville also pursuing a Masters in Statistics and working with Dr. Louis J. Gross. My work looks at applying methods of control to cellular automata models as they can be applied to the epidemic of gun violence in Chicago, Illinois. I also have an interest in quantitative biology education and Bayesian spatio-temporal statistics.
