Dear Visitation Family,

Welcome to the 2016-2017 school year!  Fresh beginnings bring excitement to students, teachers, and all of us here at VOL.

As school counselor, one of my responsibilities is to provide students, parents, and staff the resources needed in order to support them with any challenge one might face.   Counseling services provided at VOL adhere to the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) National Model and focus on academic, career, personal/social, and spiritual development of all students.

Links and information will be posted on my webpage to guide the school community on helpful and important topics; it will be updated regularly throughout the school year to provide beneficial resources to you.  Types of information provided include websites, articles, tips, parent meetings, book recommendations, upcoming events, and any other useful resources on various topics and issues.  You will also be able to see what your child is currently doing with the B.F.F. Team (Bully-Free Forever) as well as in their classroom guidance lessons known as "Living Skills."  Be sure to click around using the links on the left for plenty of information for your family.

Remember, it is a strength to ask for help, and I am here to assist the VOL community in all ways possible.  You can set up an appointment to meet with me, and you can always call or e-mail me at your convenience.  I look forward to both a wonderful and successful year at VOL!

God Bless,

Mrs. Christina
