Vermont 1:1 School Conference

Do you have a one-to-one program in your school?  Do you have questions?  Do you have answers?  Are you planning for one-to-one, in the throes of starting one, moving it to school-wide, or struggling with sustainability?   Come meet with other teachers and administrators and share information on starting, running, and maintaining a successful one-to-one computing initiative.


Beyond Success: 1:1 as a Transformative Journey

    Sessions include introduction by a Vermont practitioner, and a facilitated discussion of topics, questions, solutions, and resources among Vermont teachers, administrators, and technology leaders.  Sessions are focused on issues at the classroom, school, or board and community level.

Planning Strand

   For schools considering one-to-one programs, or in the stages of planning pilots, team-based or school-wide implementations of one-to-one computing.

Implementation Strand
Facilitator, Steve Webster, South Burlington School District

   For schools who are just starting out, in their first or second year of implementing one-to-one as pilots, team-based or school-wide implementations.

Sustainability Strand
Facilitator, Steve Jarrett, Chittenden East Supervisory Union
   For schools who have been running one-to-one programs for two years or more and are interested in systems for sustainability, and ideas for improving systems and processes.

Lunchtime Mash-Up
    Sit with educators whom you otherwise may never have met. You will come away with new contacts, peer mentors, and meet others who are part of the growing support network of 1:1 educators in Vermont.  

    Summary and sharing of site resources, and door prizes.  Win an iPad, or come as a team of three with at least one teacher and administrator and win an iPad for your school.
