Seeking Presenters for Dynamic Landscapes 2.0!
A Conference for Teachers, Librarians,
Administrators and Technology Specialists
May 16 and 17, 2013 at Champlain College
VITA-Learn and VSLA are pleased to announce their joint sponsorship of a two-day conference at Champlain College on May 16 & 17, 2013.
Dynamic Landscapes is looking for a wide variety of applications of effective uses of technology in the classroom and the library, including examples of integration using a wide variety of technology tools and applications. We would love to have some great examples that connect technology to the Common Core Standards.
We seek practical as well as cutting edge examples of how technology can facilitate and extend learning in the school environment and beyond. We LOVE examples of how classroom teachers incorporate technology into their lessons and units in ways that are unique, creative and innovative. Additionally, there is always room for some “how to” sessions where participants learn to use tools/sites, especially those that potentially address a variety of educational applications.
There are two day-time workshop formats and one late afternoon/evening format:
Submit a write-up with a creative title and description with no more than 75 words. Remember it is the quality of your write-up that draws people to your session. Let Ed Barry (firstname.lastname@example.org) know if you would like any assistance or editing suggestions.
Note if you wish a single session, double session or if you could adapt to either.
Please consider sharing your expertise and experience with your fellow classroom teachers and librarians at Dynamic Landscapes 2.0. You will receive free admission to the conference on the day you present* and have a chance to network and share ideas with some of Vermont’s finest educators!
Write-ups are due no later than February 22, 2013. I encourage you to have them in well before that if at all possible. You will be notified soon after the deadline as to the status of your presentation proposal.
A computer, projection system, screen and speakers will be provided and rooms will have Internet access. We do encourage you to bring your own laptop with needed software already installed. Please specify if you have any special equipment or other needs and EdBarry will let you know if we are able to accommodate your request.
You may submit your proposal:
Deadline is February 22, 2013
