About me

I am currently a doctoral candidate in education policy studies at the University of Virginia. My research interests include:

• The application of behavioral science insights to understanding and improving the postsecondary transition (Castleman & Meyer, 2017, Meyer & Rosinger, 2018; Castleman & Meyer, in progress; Castleman, Mabel, & Meyer, in progress)
• How reducing complexity in the financial aid system affects students' postsecondary success (Castleman, Meyer, Sullivan, Hartog, & Miller, 2017; Page, Castleman, & Meyer, 2018; Castleman & Meyer, 2016)
• How interventions to improve adolescent literacy affect students' academic and long-term outcomes (Partnerships: Summer Reading Program; Brooklyn Public Library)
