Lesson Outlines

You will be required to submit lesson outlines throughout the semester for each core subject area. These lesson outlines will be collected at the end of each subject area module and reviewed by the instructor. Lesson Outlines are to be submitted in the course Dropbox folder by 11:59 PM on the due date. Late work will be penalized 10% of the assignment grade per day it is overdue. Late work will not be accepted after more than one week. Each content area lesson outline will count as 10% of your total grade. Sample Lesson Outlines and the Lesson Outline template are available below. Links to assist you in your planning are available on the resources page. Lesson outlines will be completed as a group assignment, with 2-3 members in each group. You may pick you own groups for each lesson outline, so groups do not have to be the same for the entire semester. Group feedback will be collected after each Lesson Outline using the following rubric.
Due Dates and Assignment
Language Arts - February 12 - Second Grade Fluency (2.8j or 2.9h)
Mathematics - February 26 - Kindergarten Early Number Sense (K1 - K5)
Social Studies - April 2 - Virginia Studies 1900 to the Present (VS.9 or VS.10)
