Welcome!
My name is Mrs. Allen and I am an Intervention Specialist here at Waterloo High School. This is year twelve here at Waterloo and I am looking forward to an amazing school year! In my spare time I love to travel and spend time with my family. I am an animal lover and have two dogs, two cats (plus barn cats), three horses and several chickens. I also love to read and scrapbook when I have extra time!
I graduated from Grand Canyon University. I have two children and a loving husband of 26 beautiful years. I have two beautiful children - Hunter & Skylar.
I have had the pleasure of teaching in both high school and elementary here at Waterloo. This is my tenth year as senior advisor and enjoy sharing in the joy and anticipation of our graduating seniors. I have served as yearbook advisor for seven years now and love watching the students create a book that will last for years to come. I also have taken on advisor for the Student Council with Mrs. Wise. I have a three year certification in Youth Mental Health First Aid.
I take great pride in our school district and each of my students.
