Geometry, Engineering and College Algebra

Welcome from Mr. Wiles! This is the homepage for Geometry, Engineering and College Algebra. Students and parents can find assignments and materials on Google Classroom. All students will be asked to join the class and may add their parents to get weekly or daily summaries. As of now, work will be turned in in person. Parents who want to see what students should be completing to keep up with assignments can use the Course Calendar to do so. I am looking forward to a good year.

This is my 21st year teaching at Waterloo High School. I graduated from Tuscarawas Valley High School in 1999 then attended Kent State University. I graduated from Kent State in 2004 and began teaching at Waterloo the following fall. I received a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from Malone University in 2010. I am also a proud resident of Randolph and my children attend Waterloo School District.

In addition to teaching, I serve as the advisor for Waterloo Ski Club. We go skiing or snowboarding at Boston Mills or Brandywine five times each winter. Skiers and boarders of all experience levels are welcome. Lessons are provided as part of the program. It is a great time and I hope to see many students on the slopes this year.

My activities outside of school include spending time with my wife and children Molly, Lucy, and William, doing volunteer construction work and short term missions projects in the summer, playing guitar, riding horses, skiing, small scale farming, rock climbing and woodworking in my free time.

Parents and guardians feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns by calling the school at (330)947-2124 or by the email listed below.

Thank You,

Zachary R. Wiles
