The Meadows Math Department asks that students review math concepts over the summer!  This helps students to retain their math knowledge and prepares them for success at the next grade level.  We recommend that your child spend some time over the summer break practicing his/her math.
How can you help your child?
  • Let your child talk to you about math
  • Work with your child on household/real-life applications of math (ex. counting money, measuring ingredients in the kitchen, etc.)
  • Allow your child to visit websites to practice math skills
The #1 request of teachers in 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grade is math fact fluency!!!
