Jesus said in Matthew 28:19-20 Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. 20 Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
Phil and Michelle minister to people from countries around the world in refugee and international campus ministry at Virginia Tech University. They regularly meet and become friends with people from Afghanistan, Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan, Iran, and other countries. They help them with English conversation classes, trips to fun places, and special activities like cooking classes. It’s during these relationship building activities that friendships deepen and opportunities to share Christ in Bible studies become available. Phil and Michelle share the Gospel in weekly Bible studies with international undergraduate and graduate students, visiting scholars, researchers, professors, and their families. Would you be willing to help the Parkers reach out to people from other countries?
