The VHS Learning Commons is the hub of student learning and activities here at Verona High School. As a librarian, I work to develop students ability to locate, process, evaluate, and apply information. Classes are often held in the Learning Commons and students where students collaborate in accessing materials and applying research skills to curricular projects. Students may also use the LC space for individual and group study sessions. The LC is a flexible learning environment, therefore we hold various events and programs throughout the year.

Our mission at the LC is work collaboratively to engage our school community in a learning space that is open and welcoming to everyone. By combining our print sources with new technologies available we work to partner with students, staff, and parents as we read for pleasure and knowledge, explore our world through research and inquiry, and create solutions that seek to solve problems and empower students. 

Some of the library programs and services that we offer include:

We are always appreciate book and material donations. The VHSLC is currently accepting:
