Lesson 7. Tools

In general, we try to keep things as simple as possible. If a recipe "requires" you to have a certain piece of equipment to make it and you don't have it, improvise using what you have or don't make it. Your kitchen tool set should not change as a result of this course. For now, here's what you should have access to:

Basic cooking tools. Use what you have. Don't go buying anything.  

A notepad to take notes of the results of your experiments. This way you can remember what did and did not work.

A blender or food processor of some kind.

A nutbag would be nice if you're going to make plant milks. But it can be done with tulle fabric or some other material.
