Several of the cooking demos in the moong dal (another word for beans) videos use a pressure cooker. I would generally not use a pressure cooker with moong because it cooks in 20 minutes or less in a regular pot on the stove top. Improvise the spices with your own since you won't have most of these spices. I wouldn't bother taking the foam off. This recipe consists of mung daal and red lentils (he calls them orange daal).
