Wheat: Hot whole wheat cereal

Hot whole wheat cereal for less than $1 per person

Time to eat: 15 minutes


1. Wheatena brand whole wheat cereal 
2. Any grain, nut, or pulse milk
3. Water
4. Salt

Optional ingredients: 

5. Brown sugar, 
6. Raisins
7. Almonds
8. Oil

a.     In a pan bring 2 cups water to a boil
b.     Add 1 ts salt and adjust to taste right before serving
c.     Stir or whisk in 2/3 cup Wheatena cereal 
d.     Cover pot and put on low heat
f.      Let simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes


g. In a separate fry pan, fry up nuts with some oil. Drizzle over cooked Wheatena in the bowls.
