Douglas Davis

I am a Professor in the Department of Economics at Virginia Commonwealth University. I currently serve as the Research Director for the School of Business, as well as Director for the Experimental Laboratory of Economics and Business Research.

My research involves the use of experimental methods to evaluate questions in economics. The bulk of my papers pertain to behavioral issues in industrial organization. More recently, I have focused on questions in banking stability and financial market regulation.

In recent years I've been teaching courses in Managerial Economics, Experimental Economics and Government and Business.
