This artifact is a Needle. This artifact is a needle it was used for sewing, clothes blankets, materials, etc but back then they didn’t have any sewing machine so the people who made materials handmade needed to make those materials somehow and the needle is what they used it for. The needle looks like it’s made out of metal because the artifact looks really rusty. The texture of the needle was really bumpy, it had numbers written on it. The length of the needle is really small like almost the size of a toothpick but it was a bit longer. A needle will normally have a pointed slender piece of metal, with a hole or eye in it through which thread is passed for sewing, but this needle didn’t have a hole in it. And finally the weight of the needle was really light. I think the archaeological theme is Technological Change because people who used needles back then had to make things by hand made and now you can you a sewing machine which is less work, and the needle was made out of bone, it was hand made but now it’s made out of metal.
