Mocha Ware Mug - Reagan

This artifact is a Mochaware Mug. The mug looks like a modern day English tea cup, it was found in an alley between the Kitchen and Chief Factor’s House of the national Vancouver Fort. The mug has detailed paintings on the edges and middle of the mug. The mug was found broken into three pieces. The body is split into two, the Handle is broken off, and bottom is missing. The mug is constructed out of earthenware materials and came from England in 1829 through 1860. The mug was used by the residents of of the Chief Factor’s House to drink (obviously) and cleaned by the workers in the Kitchen.
