Entering Text

1. The first way to put text on a page is to type directly onto the page...



2. Another option is to create a text box...




3. Select the button from the menu, give the gadget (textbox) a title, set the text formatting you would like, then type into the box...




4. It will look like a grey box on your page until you hit the save button...
[click the save button to make sure you like how your text box looks]



5. The text box will look similar to this:



6. If the text you want to include has already been created once before and exists as a google document, go up to "insert" and select "document"...




7. Choose the document you would like to embed into your page...




8. After choosing your document, decide whether you would like to include the title and/or a border... You may change the height or width to match your needs for the page...
[Depending on your layout, the width option is very important. 200 pixels = about 2"]






9. The google document will not appear until after you have saved the page. Until then, it will show up as a grey box...
