Students will be able to:
  1. Define terminology used when talking about assessment and evaluation.
  2. Explain four important issues in performance-based assessment.
  3. Analyze an examples of tests to determine how they were constructed.
  4. Evaluate the quality of performance-based and knowledge-based tests.
  5. Explain how standardized tests can be used to evaluate program effectiveness.
  6. Create sample test items.
