Developing Fraction Knowledge and Instructional Strategies

District class information:

This course is designed for elementary teachers to develop a depth of understanding of fractions as numbers and operators.  Teachers will engage in activities and investigations to develop their own understanding of fractions and operations with fractions.  Teachers will develop lessons and assessments that engage students in Mathematical Practices (Idaho Core Standards) and develop students' ability to perform their grade appropriate standards.
