After 16 years, Board Chair Carolyn Hamann decided to retire from her role as Vallivue School Board Trustee. She is a strong advocate for the students and patrons of Vallivue, and she saw many successes in the district built on her foundation and leadership. Carolyn was an advocate for the arts, especially band and choir; women's athletics; alternative programs; and the new health occupations programs at Vallivue and Ridgevue High Schools. She will be missed.
