The purpose of the Quality Initiative is to engage the entire institution in a major improvement project, whereas the Assurance Argument and reviews of that argument are to provide assurance that the institution meets threshold standards.

Important Dates to Remember:

August 2015: 
  • UW-L files report on University Quality Initiative, Firm Footing.
  • Draft of Assurance Argument completed.

Fall 2015: 
  • University Review of Assurance Argument
  • Complete data collection and compilation for Evidence File
  • Complete data collection and compilation for Federal Compliance Filing

January 2016: 
  • Final Draft of Assurance Argument completed
  • Federal Compliance Filing completed

March 11, 2016: 
  • Assurance Argument and Federal Compliance Filing locked for review.

APRIL 11-12, 2016: 
  • Site Visit for Comprehensive Review
