#### The Quantitative Reasoning test is designed to test your ability to read a math problem, understand the task of the problem, reason logically, calculate, and solve the problem. The GRE contains two Quantitative Reasoning sections, each 35 minutes and 20 questions in length.

#### There are three main sections to each Quantitative Reasoning test. Within each section are various types of questions which cover the basics of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and data interpretation.

A basic four function on-screen calculator will be available for your usage; however, questions are not calculator intensive. Calculators should be used for a quick check of an answer or an isolated calculation.

Below is a code describing the type of questions you will see on the GRE Quantitative Reasoning section.

- QC=Quantitative Comparison

- MC = Multiple Choice
- MCMA = Multiple Choice Multiple Answer
- NE = Numeric Entry

- DA = Data Analysis
