Biography
I joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the Engineering and Mathematics Division at the University of Washington-Bothell from September 2014. Prior to that I received my Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of Minnesota, Twin Cities in August 2014 (under the joint supervision of Prof. Keshab K. Parhi and Dr. Dara Koozekanani), and M.S. from Kansas State University in May 2010 (under the joint supervision of Prof. Caterina Scoglio and Prof. William Hsu).

I have worked on inter-disciplinary projects that range from epidemic spread networks to information extraction from medical images. My research interests include digital signal processing, medical imaging, machine learning, artificial intelligence, bio-medical engineering, graph theory and stochastic processes. I am eager to work on new collaborative projects pertaining to engineering optimal solutions to bio-medical and medical problems.

I am constantly working on new research projects and mentoring undergraduate ad graduate research students.
