Dual Immersion “Boot Camp”
for Educators

Goal of the Workshop: To familiarize new dual immersion teachers and school staff with dual language and immersion principles, high-yield practices, and the research base in Second Language Acquisition.


Objectives of the Workshop: Educators & administrators working in dual immersion programs can:
· Access and interpret relevant information about research in Second Language Acquisition
· Experience, recognize, and discuss key principles and best practices in dual immersion
· Work collaboratively to support the success of dual language and immersion programs
· Communicate effectively with parents about the goals of dual immersion programs
