I am interested in machine learning, data mining, statistical signal processing, and large-scale learning algorithms. Also, problems related to computer vision, optimization, and applications of machine learning on intelligent vehicles are attractive topics.

Short Bio

Taewan Kim received B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), and M.S.E. degree in Electrical Engineering-Systems from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He is currently a graduate research assistant in Intelligent Data Exploration and Analysis Laboratory (IDEAL) at UT Austin under the supervision of Professor Joydeep Ghosh. Taewan's research interests are on machine learning, data mining, and large-scale learning algorithms.
