Vin was born and raised in the snowy mountains of Salt Lake City, Utah. He would receive his B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Utah in 2025. During his time there, he would develop an electro-synthetic method for the halogenation and esterification of alcohols via halide-coupled phosphine oxidation under the advisement of Dr. Qilei Zhu. In the fall of 2025, he joined the Krische group and is interested in method development and total synthesis.
