Tate Claggett was born in Toronto, Canada, where he worked as a software developer before moving to Texas. He is currently pursuing a B.Sc in Chemistry with a focus on synthesis and chemical biology and a minor in Statistics and Data Science from UT Austin. Beyond chemistry, Tate enjoys gardening, cooking, bass guitar, pharmacology, fermenting things, and oxford commas.
