Sarah Teoh

Sarah was born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She graduated with her BA in Chemistry (with Honors) from Boston University in May 2020. While there, she worked on the synthesis of a peptidomimetic fragment-based library to target MHC Class II under the direction of Dr. Arturo Vegas. After graduation, Sarah joined Dr. John Snyder’s group at Boston University as a visiting research scholar where she worked on the synthesis of natural product derivatives to be incorporated into nanoparticles. In January of 2021, Sarah joined the Medicinal Chemistry department at Vertex Pharmaceuticals as a Research Associate. In the fall of 2023, she joined the Krische group and is interested in both total synthesis and method development.
