Biography
Preeti Kumari is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Texas, Austin.
Her research interests are mainly in analyzing and developing signal processing & system design aspects of radars and wireless communication. Currently, she is working on developing a joint system of millimeter-wave (mmWave) communication and radar for automotive applications under the supervision of  Prof. Robert Heath, Jr

Research Experience
  • During Summer'18, she interned at Qualcomm, San Diego on mmWave radars.
  • During Summer'16, she interned at Intel Labs, OR on microwave radar imaging.
  • During Summer'15, she interned at National Instruments, Austin on mmWave prototyping.
  • From 2009-2013, she worked as a Scientist in Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO).
  • From Jul'09-Sep'09, she worked in emotional speech recognition at IIT Bombay.
  • In Summer'08, she interned in speaker recognition systems at IIT Madras.
