I. Introduction: Resources for Spreadsheet Analysts

This website is about helping spreadsheet analysts do their job more effectively.

This site presents add-ins, templates, standalone software and resources that assist in building models, performing analysis, distributing models to other people, compliance, and managing spreadsheet information systems and spreadsheet model assets.

This site focuses on commercial-quality tools where there is reasonable expectation of ongoing support. Therefore, most hobbyist products and freeware are excluded, with exceptions for categories where no or scant commercial products are available, or for compelling value propositions.

This site provides tools for Microsoft Excel because it is the currently the dominant spreadsheet product. Mac users should be aware that most add-ins work only on Excel for Windows and do not work on Macintosh.

This site is provided as a public service by the Business Analytics Program at the University of San Francisco's School of Business and Professional Studies.
