I am Mark Templin and, as hard as it is for me to believe, this my thirty-fifth year in education. The last twenty-five of those years have been in the Andover District. I am married and have one son, Luke, that graduated from Andover Central High School in 2005.
I have worn many hats during my career. I have taught science and physical education from 6th grade through 12th. I also coached football, baseball, basketball, and wrestling. During the last twelve years, I have worked in administration starting as the Athletic Director at Andover High School and finishing, during the past ten years, as Principal at Andover Central High School.
Things have changed in education over thirty-five years, but I don’t thing think anything has changed as much as the impact that technology has on the way students learn. I am very excited to be a part the Andover eCademy as we look for new ways to utilize technology to better serve our students.
We have put together a great staff, and all of us are working hard to make the Andover eCademy the very best option for virtual education. I am looking forward to a great year and the opportunity to work with each of you.
