District Wide Announcements

  • Attention Parents and Guardians of USD 112 Students!
On August 27, 2015 District Administration was notified that a student from Central Plains Elementary in Holyrood was approached while walking home. An elderly man in an older blue mini-van was offering him a ride. The student was close to home and made it safely. Local police were notified and have been actively searching for the van. At this time it has not been located.

All school in the Central Plains School District will take extra precautions in the upcoming days. Police will be at the schools in the morning and as the students leave. School administration will also be visible ensuring everyone is safe.

If you have any questions or concerns please contact your child’s attendance center, and if you see a blue mini-van with an elderly driver please contact local authorities.

We attempted to notify parents using our Power Messenger system, but the server location is currently down due to a mechanical issue not related to USD 112.
