SD BRIN Faculty Fellowship Program

Vermillion, S.D. (SD BRIN) - South Dakota BRIN has established the Faculty Fellowship Program (FFP) to support the career development of junior faculty throughout the network, and to encourage the development of network-wide collaborative, interdisciplinary biomedical research.

The SD BRIN Faculty Fellowship Program (FFP) will fund the research projects of 5-7 SD BRIN junior faculty that address SD BRIN's overall scientific emphasis on proteomics, genomics, and that fall under one of the three thematic focus areas:
  • Drug discovery/medicinal chemistry/natural products chemistry
  • Physiological (including cellular) and developmental responses to stimuli
  • Environmental health
