It is proposed that USCA begin supporting the mission and vision of the Wounded Warrior Project and considering including disabled athletes at collegiate competitions. This would not only grow the sport but it would assist veterans who are returning home from war in finding something to put their energy into and finding a social outlet. College athletics can help American veterans who have returned home and are attending colleges and universities across the nation.
Relevance: Many organizations currently support the wounded warrior foundation and many archery shops hold fundraisers and discount equipment to assist those seeking some way to recover from the trauma they have experienced. This is an opportunity for college archery to assist those suffering from war.
