Each year clubs can nominate a coach for the Regional Coach of the year. Clubs then vote on the candidates based on criteria outlined by USCA. Recipients of this award exemplify those special qualities of the highest caliber of coaches who support their clubs in the sport of archery and support the Mission and Vision of USCA with their contributions to the organization. Criteria is based upon contributions to the sport of archery via publications, clinics and workshops, the performances of the coach's archery team and service to college archery.
Having earned this honor in the regions in which they coach, they are now the candidates for the Margaret Klann Coach of the Year Award. USCA clubs throughout the country have the opportunity to review the accomplishments of these four coaches and cast their vote for this prestigious award. The winner will be announced at USIAC.
USCA is proud to announce the 2012 Regional Coaches of the Year

Mark Eggers, Wayne State University and Univ of Nebraska, Lincoln
USCA Coaches are, by and large, volunteers who support the clubs and archers because of their love of the sport and belief in helping college students. There are many dedicated coaches in USCA and we proudly salute all of our coaches and their commitment and dedication to USCA and their clubs and athletes.
