On June 3, 2013 a group of Ursuline French students and three coworkers traveled to France. Their trip began with a home stay with the Ursuline sponsored school, Blanche de Castille, in Nantes. There, the students and coworkers spent a week attending classes, touring the region and experiencing life with French families. On the last day of their home stay visit, the group shared tea with the Ursuline sisters at the school.

After their week-long home stay, the group set off on a tour of France. The tour included highlights such as: eating crepes in front of the Eiffel tower at midnight, seeing the Mona Lisa at the Louvre, visiting the Palace of the Popes in Avignon and swimming in the French Riviera in Nice. The students also managed to fit in a little shopping. The seventeen day journey was a whirlwind of memories the students and coworkers will always share and they were looking forward to seeing their friends from Nantes in February 2014.

Following the visit from France in 2014, we had a group of our students make a trip to France in Spring 2015 over Spring break. Most recently, we hosted a group from Nantes in Spring 2016. New and continued connections are strengthened with each interaction.
