The fifth annual PDU hosted Research Symposium will be held on Friday, February 12th, 2016, in the Business Administration building amphitheater at UPRM.  The title of the event is Beyond Academia: Maximizing Research Impact.
 
Key representatives from the National Alliance for Broader Impacts (NABI), the NIH Office of the Associate Director for Data Science, industry will be available, as well as your colleagues—faculty, researchers, educators, and grant administrators—representing institutions from across Puerto Rico.  

This all-day conference is a must, especially for individuals interested in issues related to Big Data in research, as well as those who wish to communicate the broader social or economic impact of their work in a more effective manner.  Attendees will also have the valuable opportunity to interact with speakers and gain valuable insight into funding mechanisms and opportunities.
