UPHS Vision Statement:

As part of the Early College Initiative, UPHS provides students with an opportunity to prepare for college through rigorous academics, to participate in concurrent enrollment in college classes, and to earn a substantial number of college credits during the high school years.

UPHS Mission Statement:

UPHS will provide opportunities for students to succeed in a rigorous academic curriculum through intensive academic training in preparation for a college path, with an emphasis on academic English, math, science, writing across the curriculum, character development, leadership, community service and civic engagement.

UPHS Expected School Wide Learning Results

We want all UPHS students to BECOME:

Problem Solvers--who define problems, think critically, make decisions, and create solutions

Communicators--who read, speak, write, and listen to understand

Respectful & Responsible Citizens--who display academic integrity, contribute locally and globally, and are environmentally aware

Self-Motivated Individuals--who set well-defined goals, manage time, and are life-long learners
