Research Projects (as of Fall 2019): I have some exciting new projects in machine learning and big data frameworks. If you are interested in joining my team, please email me (pchundi at unomaha dot edu) your CV/resume. Currently, we are looking for PhD students or postdocs interested in designing and applying machine learning frameworks to image and text data sets. Working knowledge in Python would be a plus. 

  1. Data Driven Material Discovery Center for Bioengineering Innovation:

  2. Identifying Retinal Topographic Distribution of Ocular Toxoplasmosis Lesions and Utilizing Deep Mind Learning to Identify Toxoplasmosis in Posterior Uveitis 
    • Project Team: Profs. Mahadevan Subramaniam, Parvathi Chundi of Computer Science Dept., University of Nebraska-Omaha and Dr. Quan Nguyen and his team at Byers Eye Institute, Stanford University
  3. Machine learning for Serious Games:
    1. Project Team: Prof. Abhishek Parakh in the School of Interdisciplinary Informatics, and Profs. Mahadevan Subramaniam, and Parvathi Chundi, of the Computer Science Department, University of Nebraska-Omaha.
