Welcome to UNLV's grant writing guide. This guide was developed for educators and grant writers seeking to build a proposal for The Rogers Foundation.

Grant writing can be challenging and time intensive. Writing a proposal for funding is one of the most effective ways to get resources for a project and communicate how a project or program will strengthen the community to a funder.
Before you begin to write your proposal, review the Request for Proposals and ensure your program aligns with the funding goals of The Rogers Foundation. A successful grant proposal is one that is well-prepared, thoughtfully planned, and concisely packaged. The Rogers Foundation Requests for Proposals requires that grant funding proposals contain six sections.
