Dr. Raz Noori Arif

Welcome to my Academic Profile page.

I am a lecturer and a researcher with PhD inNanomaterial applications for Photonic Research, currently teaching in the Faculty of Science at University of Sulaimani in Kurdistan Region, F.R. Iraq

I completed my PhD studies concerning the functionalization of nanomaterials for photonic applications at the Nanomaterials Photonic Research part of Aston Institute of Photonic Technologies (AIPT), Aston University Birmingham, UK. I obtained my MSc in laser application from the University of Technology, Baghdad, Iraq.

My main research focus lies in the investigation of the optical properties of nanomaterials. More specifically, carbon nanotubes. Also, exploring the possibility of practical applications of nanomaterials in the field of photonics.
